How long is the live aboard experience?


We customize each trip to our guests based on their budget and what they wish to accomplish while on board. We have had guests stay aboard for 2 weeks while getting their PADI Advanced Diver certification with James. We have had couples who just wanted to experience 1 day / night on a catamaran. We can flexible!




How do I get to you?


We are currently based in Bonaire and you will need to fly into the BON airport. If coming from the USA, check American Airlines and Delta as they are the only US-based airlines that fly in/out of BON. Once you are scheduled to board Lost Cat, you will meet us at a local marina for pickup.




Do I need a passport/vaccination card/COVID test to travel to Bonaire?


Passport: YES! You should also ensure that your passport does not expire within 6 months of your travel date, or you could be denied entry. Vaccination Card: NO! It is not necessary to be vaccinated to enter Bonaire, but you should bring your card with you if you are vaccinated. Negative COVID test: YES! What is included in the cost?


In addition to liveaboard education, your package includes: Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner aboard.* *Please note that we wish to support the economy while exposing you to local flavors, so please plan to eat on land (at your own expense) for a few meals! Soft drinks, juices, beer, wine, and 2 bottles of your choice. Snorkel gear and fins. (Extra $ for renting dive gear) Logistics fees: Gas, dockage & mooring fees.




What if I don’t care about live-aboard education and just want to book a trip?


That’s totally cool. We’ll give you as much, or as little, education as you’d like about sailing and living aboard. The cost for our liveaboard trips remains the same to cover our expenses. You can tailor your experience using the preference sheet made available during the booking process.




What do I need to bring with me?


Please bring: Soft, foldable luggage. (No hard-top rollers, please!) Sunscreen. (No aerosol sprays, please!) Your favorite beach towel. A water bottle for measuring daily intake. Shoes with white or non-marking soles. Personal dive/snorkel gear, if preferred. Personal toiletries. (We have basic body wash & shampoo on board) Cover-ups to help with sun exposure. I’m allergic to cats. Will Kirby cat be onboard?


Yes. Lost Cat is Kirby’s home, too, and you will be sharing the common areas with him. If you’re allergic to cats, or generally not a fan, we probably aren’t the best fit for your live aboard experience!




How much is the deposit to hold my reservation?


Deposits are due at the time of booking, and reflect 10% of the total price. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, but are transferrable if you need to reschedule.
